Unitree Robotics, a global leader in legged and humanoid robots, has officially signed an agreement with the Chongqing Dadukou District government to jointly build an Embodied AI Robot West Innovation and Operation Center.
The partnership marks a major step in Unitree's strategic expansion into Southwest China. The center will focus on full-chain development covering specialized materials, core components, software algorithms, intelligent systems, complete machine manufacturing, system integration, scenario application, and aftermarket services.
Dadukou District has already completed 194,600 square meters of AI standard factory space, a 15,000-square-meter public training base, and a 1,000P-level intelligent computing service center. The district is collaborating with over ten local universities.
Unitree's wholly-owned subsidiary, Chongqing Yuyi Technology, has been registered in Dadukou, and the West Innovation and Operation Center is now operational.
According to Dadukou District officials, the intelligent robot industry scale in the area is projected to exceed 10 billion yuan by 2030.
