Xinghaitu, a leading Chinese embodied intelligence company, announced two major initiatives at its first Global Developer Conference on June 16: a 1 billion yuan startup partnership program and a massive real-world data collection project.
'Xingtu Plan' for Startup Incubation
Xinghaitu, in partnership with Kaihui Capital, launched the 'Xingtu Plan' — a dedicated program committing 1 billion yuan over 5 years to support early-stage embodied AI startups. The initiative provides capital, technical expertise, and real-world deployment scenarios to accelerate the development of next-generation embodied intelligence companies.
'We are at an inflection point where embodied AI needs diverse application scenarios to mature,' said a Xinghaitu representative. 'The Xingtu Plan bridges the gap between innovative ideas and industrial validation.'
Yishu Intelligence and the 1 Million Hour Data Plan
In a joint venture with the Beijing Yizhuang Economic Development Zone, Xinghaitu unveiled Yishu Intelligence, a new entity dedicated to building the worlds largest high-quality embodied AI real-world dataset. The company has initiated a 1 million hour ultra-high-quality real data collection program, with plans to scale from 1 million to 10 million hours over the next three years.
Data has emerged as the most scarce resource in embodied intelligence — more critical than algorithms or hardware. Access to massive, high-quality real-world interaction data creates a fundamental advantage in model capability. Xinghaitus strategy is clear: build an insurmountable data moat.
'Data is becoming the new oil of embodied AI — more scarce than algorithms and hardware,' industry analysts note. 'Whoever masters massive real-world data first will establish a generational advantage in model capability.'
The announcement positions Xinghaitu among a growing group of Chinese embodied AI leaders racing to secure the data infrastructure needed for the next phase of the industrys development.
