Third China Embodied AI & Humanoid Robot Industry Conference Opens in Beijing

The third China Embodied AI & Humanoid Robot Industry Conference officially opened in Beijing on April 28, 2026, at the Zhongguancun National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone. Themed "Competing for the Trillion-Dollar Embodied AI Track - Reshaping Future Industry New Era," the conference brought together over 1,000 participants from government, industry, research, and investment sectors.

**Key Highlights**

The conference showcased achievements from 26 companies releasing new products, benchmark scenario deployments, core components, and underlying technologies. Leading companies including Unitree Robotics, Leapbot, UBTECH, BrainCo, Superhexa, and UNI instruments displayed their latest innovations.

**Policy Support**

Qu Daoqui, President of the China Mechatronics Technology Application Association, emphasized that the association will focus on three areas: standards leadership, platform empowerment, and scenario implementation to bridge the path from component innovation to system integration and scenario verification.

**Technical Breakthroughs**

Academician Yin Zhouping from Huazhong University of Science and Technology highlighted that current humanoid robots have achieved rapid walking and running capabilities, but the real breakthrough lies in dexterous manipulation and natural interaction. "At the operational level, touch is the biggest bottleneck. We need high-dimensional, large-area, multi-modal flexible tactile sensors combined with vision and force sensing for precision operations."

**Industry Report**

The "Embodied AI & Humanoid Robot Industry Research Report (2026)" was officially released at the conference, systematically analyzing the global market landscape, policy environment, and investment and technology trends, with forward-looking judgments on key breakthroughs from 2026 to 2030.
