Amap Unveils ABot Full-Stack Embodied AI System, Launches Four-Legged Robot "Tutu"
On April 19, 2026, Alibaba's Amap unveiled ABot, the world's first full-stack embodied AI technical system targeting AGI. The system achieved 15 state-of-the-art (SOTA) results across global benchmarks, with ABot-World becoming the only model achieving SOTA across three critical dimensions: physical compliance, action controllability, and zero-shot generalization. The system's "three-layer flywheel" architecture—Data Layer, Model Layer, and Agent Layer—creates a self-evolving closed loop where data drives models, models serve applications, and applications generate data. The flagship product, Amap "Tutu," a four-legged robot designed for guide dog applications, demonstrated real-world capabilities at the Beijing Yizhuang Robot Half Marathon, navigating complex obstacles and crowds autonomously. Amap announced comprehensive open-sourcing of the entire ABot system, providing the largest robot manipulation dataset UniACT with over 6 million trajectories.
