Chinese autonomous driving technology company MINIEYE announced on June 11 that it has entered into a strategic partnership with robotics developer LDROBOT. The two companies will collaborate in the emerging fields of Physical AI and embodied intelligence.
The partnership focuses on four strategic areas: developing a shared Physical AI technology foundation, building a comprehensive product portfolio, advancing commercialization initiatives, and creating integrated data-sharing mechanisms. MINIEYE will contribute its full-stack capabilities in end-to-end autonomous driving models and large-scale real-world data loops, while LDROBOT brings expertise in spatial perception and embodied robot development.
On the product side, the partnership will explore integrated hardware-software solutions for last-mile delivery and next-generation interactive robots powered by multimodal foundation models. The partners see opportunities in home companionship, elderly care services, and commercial service applications.
"As the convergence between autonomous driving and robotics gathers pace, the partnership reflects a broader industry trend toward integrating mobility intelligence with embodied AI," the companies stated. The initial focus will be on cities including Shenzhen and Changsha, creating showcase projects that can be replicated in other markets.
