Shenpu Simple AI, a general-purpose embodied intelligence robotics company, announced on June 16 the completion of a hundreds of millions yuan Pre-A funding round. The round was led by Didi (DiDi Chuxing), with participation from Meihua Capital, Keli Sensing, and existing investors CCV, Linear Capital, and Puhua Capital.
This marks Simple AI's fourth consecutive funding round within one year, demonstrating strong investor confidence in its lightweight world model approach to embodied intelligence. The company focuses on developing the Simple-World Model, a unified base model that combines layered memory-enhanced agent architecture for improved long-horizon task planning, cross-platform zero-shot adaptation, and manipulation generalization.
Simple AI has developed a proprietary low-cost, high-precision pure visual UMI+Ego data collection system enabling large-scale multimodal data acquisition from real-world scenarios. The company has also built a complete real-robot data feedback loop, driving autonomous robot evolution through continuous learning.
The company has partnered with China Tourism Group Hotel to deploy its Simbot robots at the Beijing Lidu Weijing Hotel, marking the industry's first embodied robot hotel POC. The Simbot handles item delivery, public area inspection, room service, and basic cleaning tasks in real hotel environments.
The funding will accelerate product iteration and commercial scaling, with focus on Simple-World Model upgrades, embodied AI data infrastructure, talent acquisition, and home-scene deployment. Simple AI also plans overseas batch shipments in 2026.
