CES Asia 2026: Embodied AI Moves from Stage Demos to Real Productivity

CES Asia 2026, taking place June 10-12 at the Beijing Etrong International Exhibition and Convention Center, marks a watershed moment for Chinas embodied AI industry. Widely recognized as Deployment Year One, 2026 signals the industry definitive shift from laboratory demonstrations and stage performances to scenario-based implementation and large-scale commercial deployment. The transition from dancing robots to working robots represents a qualitative leap in technological maturity. Powered by Vision-Language-Action foundation models, the new generation of humanoid robots now boasts 59+ degrees of freedom for fine manipulation, 15-category human emotion recognition, and sub-millimeter environmental perception capabilities. In industrial manufacturing settings, humanoid robots can already operate continuously for 8 hours without anomalies, achieving 100 percent operation success rates and effectively replacing 30-50 percent of repetitive human positions. Industry forecasts indicate that 2026 global humanoid robot shipments will exceed 50,000 units, with China accounting for over 80 percent of that total, and market value surpassing 90 billion yuan.
