1X Technologies Opens California Factory for Neo Humanoid Mass Production

1X Technologies, the Norwegian robotics company backed by OpenAI, has officially opened its California manufacturing facility dedicated to mass-producing the Neo humanoid robot. The Neo Beta represents 1X consumer-focused humanoid platform, currently running early-access trials in 60 households. With 126M+ in total funding and an 820M valuation, 1X positions itself as the leader in home-assistive humanoid robotics targeting 100,000 Neo robots by 2027.
