Tesla Converts Fremont Factory for Optimus Gen 3 Production

Tesla will end Model S/X production at Fremont and convert those lines to manufacture Optimus Gen 3 humanoid robots. CEO Elon Musk confirmed Optimus Gen 3 production will start July-August 2026 at Fremont, with enterprise deliveries in H2 2026. Fremont targets 1M units/year at full capacity. Tesla is also preparing Giga Texas Optimus facility with 10M units/year target.
