Holiday Robotics Secures 150 Billion Won Investment
Holiday Robotics, a South Korean humanoid robot startup, is on the verge of becoming a unicorn company. With domestic venture capital IMM Investment secured as the lead investor, it has virtually finalized a new investment round worth 150 billion Korean won. The company's valuation is expected to reach 950 billion won post-investment. IMM Investment led the Series A round, with Atinum Investment and Stonebridge Ventures following up. Holiday Robotics independently developed robotic hands, tactile sensors, and movable joints, unveiling its first humanoid robot, Friday, in October 2025. Mass production is planned for July 2026. Founder Song Ki-young previously sold his machine learning startup Sua Lab to Cognex for 230 billion won in 2019.
